SALEM, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Salem man was arrested for allegedly sexually abusing a child. Juan Hermosillo Bolanos, 28, was charged with first-degree sexual abuse, forcible touching, and endangering the welfare of a child.
The New York State Police said it received a tip that an adult had inappropriate contact with a child under the age of 11 on June 4. Troopers determined Hermosillo Bolanos allegedly sexually abused the child multiple times in the spring of 2025 in Salem.
Hermosillo Bolanos was arrested on Wednesday and placed in the Washington County Correctional Facility while awaiting arraignment.
