CHARLESTON, S.C. (WCBD) – The Tri-County Human Trafficking Task Force will have its quarterly meeting Friday morning.

The meeting will feature a presentation on key findings from the task force’s newly released biennial report as well as a discussion of proposed state legislation.

The task force served the counties of Charleston, Berkeley, and Dorchester in regional anti-trafficking efforts.

Charleston County Sheriff Carl Ritchie is expected to take part in a discussion on current and upcoming legislative efforts impacting anti-trafficking work in the state.

The meeting will be held in Charleston County Council Chambers in North Charleston.
