SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) -- Plenty of sunshine Friday for our hottest day of the week and the hottest weekend of the year so far.

Inland daytime highs will rise well into the 90s, if not even the triple digits. Although the rest of the weekend won't be quite as hot, we will still see temperatures rising well into the 90s for inland areas.

Along the coast, highs will be in the mid 60s to low 70s, and low 70s to high 80s around the bay.

If you are heading to San Francisco for Outside Lands, it will be gorgeous. Expect some fog but also plenty of peaks of sunshine will make for comfortably cool weather in Golden Gate Park.

Sunrise in San Francisco is at 6:19 a.m. Sunset is at 8:12 p.m.
