TEXARKANA, Texas (KSLA) - A man was found dead in a Texarkana home just before 5 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 8.

TTPD says they initially responded to Nolthenius Street on reports of a burglary in progress.

When they arrived, they found a man inside the home with apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

Additional details are slim at this time. An investigation is ongoing.
