Firefighting personnel and resources have poured into the Cameron Lake area, while hundreds were forced to evacuate due to the Wesley Ridge wildfire in early August.
The PQB community has pulled together, with residents offering up spare rooms for people to stay, hosting livestock displaced by the fire and much more.
BC Wildfire Service at one point had 200 personnel battling the fire, burning in steep and challenging terrain, and has been assisted by the Dashwood Volunteer Fire Department and the Coombs-Hilliers Volunteer Fire Department.
