Two people were injured early Friday in a double shooting at a fast-casual South Bethlehem eatery, city police said.

Bethlehem Police Capt. Nicholas Lechman said the gunfire began shortly after midnight at Sizzling Bites , 312 E. 3rd St.

Investigators found an adult at the restaurant suffering from gunshot wounds to the body, Lechman said. That person was taken to an area hospital for treatment.

Another adult was found with similar wounds at an area hospital and was taken there in a private vehicle, Lechman said.

Both victims were listed in stable condition Friday morning, Lechman said.

No other injuries were reported. Multiple patrons were at Sizzling Bites when the gunfire broke out, Lechman said.
