KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Missouri State Fair kicked off Thursday in Sedalia.

This year's fair runs through Sunday, Aug. 17. It has everything from tractor pulls and animal showcases to carnival rides and concerts.

Country music legend Wynonna Judd kicked off night one of the fair with a concert Thursday. Several other artists, including Flo Rida and Jon Pardi, are scheduled to perform at the fair.

A fireworks show is scheduled for Friday and Saturday night. You can find the full lineup of events here.

There's a "kids zone" for children, as well as a petting zoo, a Mr. Stinky Feet show and a racing pigs show – among other family-friendly activities.
