It's time for Massachusetts' annual sales tax-free holiday weekend -- one of the best weekends of the year for shoppers.

The Bay State is waiving its sales tax on most items this Saturday and Sunday, meaning it's a good time to buy if you need back-to-school supplies, clothes, or even a new laptop.

"We have savvy shoppers this year and parents, so they're looking to find those moments that they can save," said Anthony Jardim, of Deloitte. "When we think about Boston, spending is a little bit higher than the national average."
