HAMBURG, N.Y. — The Erie County Fair Veteran's Day will be on Sunday, Aug. 10, starting at 11 a.m.

All veterans and associated members that provide proof of service are given a $10 voucher and can enter the fair for free.

The day begins with a 12 p.m. Mass at the Family Entertainment Complex, followed by a Veterans Memorial Service at 1:30 p.m. in the track infield, featuring retired U.S. Army Brigadier General Anthony F. Caruana as the guest speaker.

During the program, U.S. LCDR Lauren Schmiegel, Commanding Officer of the Buffalo Military Entrance Processing Stating will be conducting a Ceremonial Swear-in for all branches of service. Individuals participating are from all parts of WNY.

A Flag and Rose Ceremony of all Veteran Service Organizations will be led by Gold Star Mothers.
