OLIVER SPRINGS, Tenn. (WATE) — A 21-year-old firefighter was killed in a Roane County crash, according to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

According to the THP preliminary report, the crash took place around 5:26 a.m. on July 31. Bryson Trentham was turning left onto Blair Road from Old Harriman Highway when his 2025 Ram 1500 was hit by a vehicle going north. Trentham died on August 4 due to injuries sustained during the crash.

Trentham was a firefighter with the Blair Volunteer Fire Department. In the days before his passing, the department urged people to donate blood to support him and to keep his family in their thoughts and prayers.
