Kia is recalling about 300,000 vehicles, including its Telluride and K5 models, due to defective parts.

According to two separate recall notices from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the recall affects more than 200,000 Telluride models and more than 100,000 K5 models.

The vehicles are being recalled because the door belt molding trims that connect the glass window and the metal frame of the door can detach, “becoming a road hazard for other vehicles and increasing the risk of a crash,” according to the NHTSA.
