TEXARKANA, Texas (KETK)-- The Texarkana Police Department is investigating after a 22-year-old was found murdered Friday morning.

According to Texarkana PD, shortly before 5 a.m., officers responded to the 1200 block of Nolthenius Street, where they found a 22-year-old who had been shot to death just inside the door of the house.

"It’s very early in the investigation, so there are more questions than answers at this point," officials said. "Detectives are still working to determine exactly what happened there and identify the suspect(s)."
