SAN FRANCISCO—On Thursday, August 8, 2025, the SF District Attorney’s Office announced that Deaon Brimmer, 44, was convicted after a trial by jury for attempting to break into a Cow Hollow home. He was convicted of one count of attempted burglary in the first-degree (PC 664/459) and possession of burglary tools (PC 466). The court also found true the allegation that these crimes were committed while the defendant was out of custody on his own recognizance (PC 120022.1(b)).
According to evidence and other testimony presented at trial, on December 7, 2024, under the cover of darkness, Brimmer climbed a fence and attempted to drill through a door lock at a home on Union Street in an attempt to gain access to the residence.
