Late Thursday night, Aug. 7, at 10:27 p.m., officers responded to a report of a collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle near Rainier Avenue South and South Willow Street.

Officers arrived and found a 29-year-old man critically injured in the roadway and an adult woman driving a black vehicle with visible damage. Seattle Fire Department medics attempted life-saving measures but pronounced the motorcyclist deceased at the scene.

Patrol officers secured the area, and detectives from the Traffic Collision Investigation Squad responded to conduct a full investigation.
