DULUTH, Minn. (Northern News Now) - Wired Whisker, a cat café on East Superior Street, is celebrating the holiday by hosting a walking cat tour.

Inspired by John Edwards’ walking cat tours in the Wedge neighborhood of Minneapolis, the Duluth walk is about a 3 mile roundtrip.

There will be 10 to 20 cats to stop and see in nearby homes along the route.

The tour begins at 10 a.m. Friday, starting at Wired Whisker. Street parking is available along East Superior Street, as well as in the unpaved parking lot of Revive church.

Owner of Duluth’s Wired Whisker Misha Smith said that she hopes this can become a yearly tradition.

“We have a wonderful cat community,” said said. “We thought it would be a fun way to get out and enjoy the weather.”
