Cottage Health partners with Children’s Hospital Los Angeles

Cottage Children’s Medical Center, based at Santa Barbara (Calif.) Cottage Hospital, has joined Children’s Hospital Los Angeles Care Network. Through the collaboration, Cottage Children’s and CHLA will coordinate specialty care, train nurses and residency fellows, and share clinical best practices, according to an Aug. 7 Cottage Health news release shared with Becker’s.

If Cottage Children’s does not offer the specialty care needed for a complex diagnosis, patients will be able to receive care at CHLA as needed and return to Cottage Children’s for follow-up or ongoing care closer to home when possible.
