SANTA CLARA, Calif. (KRON) -- The San Francisco 49ers are set to kick off their preseason on Saturday, just as the team announced the completion of a two-year, $200 million renovation of Levi’s Stadium.

One of the first upgrades that visitors may notice is the two brand new 4K video boards that team officials said are now the largest 4K displays in the NFL. The screens are 70 percent larger than the previous boards and feature 300 percent more pixels.

Other improvements include 55,000 square feet of new LED boards throughout the stadium, new LED field lights, improved Wi-Fi and cellular networks, renovated suites and a new gameday production control room.
