CHARLESTON, W.Va. (WV News) — The Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia announced Friday it secured a $280,000 State Opioid Response grant to fund family treatment courts through September.

The grant will allow the courts to continue operating while the Supreme Court pursues other funding options. The courts reunite children with parents who have substance use disorders. There are 14 family treatment courts operating in 18 counties.
