Angel Bratten, a Bismarck woman facing two felony child neglect charges, appeared in Burleigh County court Thursday, where a judge reduced her bond from $5,000 to $2,500. The latest incident occurred on Sunday when police found two children outside a mobile home who appeared to have gone unfed and unwashed for approximately 16 hours. Bratten, whose bond had previously been revoked, is now restricted to communicating with the children only through human service zone workers. Her first trial is scheduled for September 17 in Bismarck.
