HMRC is alerting households to the chance to claim £2,000 of support, even if they earn up to £100,000.

Families may be able to benefit from tax-free childcare, banking up to £2,000 annually for each child up to the age of 11, and £4,000 for a disabled child up to the age of 16.

It's an account parents pay money in, to be then topped up with free cash by the Government.

There are now 75,000 childcare settings accepting tax-free childcare as payment including nurseries, registered childminders, holiday activity clubs and before and after school clubs.
