An escaped bull that won the hearts of Brummies when it was seen roaming around city streets two months ago has been immortalised in art.

Artist Christine Stockwell has painted 'Liam the Bull' following his escape in the city - ironically already famed for its love of bulls - in early June .

Locals were amazed when they saw Liam, named after Blues player Liam Daish, on the loose near Small Heath train station.

John Cooper, who works at the station, couldn't believe his eyes when he saw the stunning black bull outside his workplace.

He said at the time that he initially thought the stunning black bull was a horse.
