LUBBOCK, Texas -- A large structure fire at the 8100 block of Farm-to-Market Road 2641 had multiple fire rescue teams responding early Friday morning.

According to the Lubbock County Sheriff's Office, the homeowner reported the fire at 1:23 a.m.

Deputies from LCSO, Shallowater PD and the Shallowater, Carlisle, Wolfforth, Idalou, New Deal, Abernathy and Woodrow fire departments responded to the scene and shut down Farm-to-Market Road 2641 for three hours, according to LCSO.

The fire was contained to an attached garage that was fully engulfed in flames with a vehicle inside. According to LCSO, all occupants safely exited the building with no injuries.

According to the press release, LCSO is still looking to determine the cause of the fire.
