EAST GRAND FORKS – About 24 tractors made up a majority of the annual Heritage Days Parade floats for the evening that showcased the area’s farming heritage.

What the parade featured new and historic floats blending together to display East Grand Forks' heritage.

“We haven’t done a parade in East Grand Forks for … at least 10 years or more,” said Dale Helms, president of the Heritage Village Foundation. “That’s why (we tried) to put together a really big parade, have a nice little show there. … So it’s pretty exciting.”

The parade brought back an older tradition of celebrating East Grand Forks’ heritage.
