SHREVEPORT, La. - A federal grand jury has returned a superseding indictment against two brothers, adding a new charge for the fatal shooting of a Shreveport man during a robbery earlier this year.
Kevin Terrell Lewis, also known as “Kelvin Lewis,” 38, of Arlington, Texas, and his brother, Larry Dewayne Lewis, 44, of Shreveport, were previously charged with robbery and conspiracy to use, carry, brandish, and discharge firearms during crimes of violence. The new indictment now includes a count of murder, alleging the brothers caused the death of B.J. (Billy Jamison) by discharging a firearm during the commission of a robbery. Jamison was making a delivery from the Hackbarth Company to Walgreens at 3124 Line Avenue in Shreveport when he was shot.
