TEXARKANA, TEXAS - Police are investigating a homicide that occurred early Friday morning in the 1200 block of Nolthenius Street.

At approximately 4:51 a.m., officers responded to a 911 call reporting a shooting at the residence. Upon arrival, they found Trewan Sanders, 22, of Texarkana, Texas, dead just inside the doorway.

Friday afternoon, detectives arrested Kamarion Fricks, 17, of Ashdown, Ark. He was booked into the Bi-State Jail on a murder charge.

Authorities are working to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
