SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Several schools in Siouxland will receive funding for secondary career and technical education (CTE) programs as part of the Credentials to Careers grant program.

According to a release, each district will be awarded up to $50,000 during the 2025-26 school year to help CTE programs attain one or more industry-recognized credentials.

The release explains that the credentials are certifications or licenses vetted by employers and endorsed by a nationally recognized trade association or organization in a particular industry. Credentials are tools for individuals in the workforce, verifying skill mastery and educational attainment.

The districts within Siouxland receiving grants include:

Boyden-Hull Community School District

Hinton Community School District
