TRAVERSE CITY — The Traverse City Planning Commission is considering a proposal that would bring a four-story boutique hotel with 137 rooms, 67 underground parking spaces and more to the city.
The new development is being proposed for 124 W. Front St., according to a site plan review application submitted by Great Lakes Capital to the commission at its Aug. 5 regular meeting.
According to the proposal , the project includes accessory uses typical for a hotel, such as a restaurant, café, bar and conference or event space.
Plans also call for outdoor patio seating on the north and west sides of the structure, and a valet drop-off and pickup area integrated into the building façade. The basement-level parking garage would be accessed via an internal ramp.
