TRAVERSE CITY — Governor Gretchen Whitmer made some stops in Traverse City Friday. One of those was to sign a new executive directive for affordable health insurance.

“Put simply, the ACA provides a lifeline to so many families who are just trying to get by. We know that with the Big Bill in Washington, it’s taken a wrecking ball to the affordable health care in this country,” said Whitmer.

A new directive was signed Friday by Whitmer, as she was joined by leadership at Munson Medical Center.
