A man from Philadelphia has been charged with multiple federal crimes after authorities said he brought a minor across state lines for sex.
Bobbyjean Orak, 30, was charged in a five-count indictment with offenses that include interstate travel with intent to engage in a sexual act with a minor, enticement of a minor and production of child pornography, the U.S. Attorney’s Office District of New Jersey said in a statement on Thursday.
Orak is accused of transporting an underaged victim from Pennsylvania to New Jersey in 2022, with the intention of engaging in sexual activity with the victim, federal authorities said.
FBI agents and local police rescued the child in Atlantic County last summer, federal prosecutors said.
Orak was later identified as the suspect and searches of his phone
