A 20-year-old motorcyclist was seriously injured early Friday in a solo crash in La Jolla, authorities said she was not expected to survive.
The crash happened at around 3:10 a.m. Friday, when the eastbound rider on a Honda motorcycle collided with the center median in the 2000 block area of Torrey Pines Road, according to the San Diego Police Department.
Police said she was ejected from the motorcycle and sustained multiple life-threatening injuries. The victim was taken by ambulance to a local hospital in critical condition. Her name was not immediately released.
