A revised federal registry of "sanctuary jurisdictions" targeted for their alleged role in obstructing federal immigration enforcement removed dozens of cities and counties across New York previously accused of the actions by the Trump administration.

The revised list comes two months after a previous version was published and then promptly removed by Homeland Security officials. That initial list included nearly 500 sanctuary jurisdictions, including 13 cities and counties across the Hudson Valley, which asserted they had been wrongfully accused of violating federal immigration laws.
