GEORGE COUNTY, Miss. (WKRG) — A deputy with the George County Sheriff's Office has been arrested on a driving under the influence charge, News 5 has learned.
According to a sheriff's office Facebook post, on Thursday night, Lucedale Police Department officers arrested 22-year-old Braxton Keebler, an off-duty deputy, on suspicion of DUI.
Keebler was arrested without incident and was taken to the Greene County Sheriff's Office, where he was booked.
GCSO officials said Keebler has been placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation.
