Kodak Black has been named in a lawsuit regarding a 2022 shooting that left multiple people, including himself, injured.

According to Complex, Mark Schaefer and Adam Rahman were shot as they attended a Super Bowl Party hosted by Justin Bieber in Los Angeles that erupted in gunfire. Schaefer and Rahman claim that the Florida rapper initiated the violent incident that resulted in bullets. The “No Flockin'” performer was also shot in the leg during the altercation. Bieber, as well as the venue The Nice Guy, were previously named in the lawsuit.

In the litigation, Rahman and Shaefer seek $10.6 million in damages. During a court hearing on Wednesday (Aug. 6), their attorney informed the court that Kodak was the only remaining defendant and should be found “in default” because he
