BERWICK, La. (KLFY) - Kelvin Moore, 28, of Patterson, was arrested on Thursday, August 7, 2025, following reports of gunfire at the Suburban Studios Hotel on U.S. Highway 90.

Moore faces charges including possession of Schedule I THC with intent to distribute, illegal use of weapons or dangerous instrumentalities, and illegal carrying of a weapon in the presence of controlled dangerous substances.

Officers from the Berwick Police Department responded to the incident after receiving reports of shots fired. Upon arrival, they secured the area and evacuated the first floor of the hotel as a precaution.
