Wesley Howard Furuya, Sansei, born February 26, 1956, in Santa Maria, California, passed away on July 28, 2025, in Las Vegas at the age of 69.

He is predeceased by his sisters, Justine and Paula. Wesley is survived by his sister, Stacy; nephew, Gianni (Alma); and nieces, Noemi (Jack and Emiko), Lauren (Vincent and Sage), and Danielle (Rolando and Julian).

Wes will be remembered by all who knew him for his razor-sharp wit, hilarious sense of humor, and creative talent. He had a deep appreciation for music, with a legendary collection — especially of The Rolling Stones and David Bowie. He was a devoted sports fan and a passionate collector of memorabilia, with a special love for the Dodgers and, most of all, the Lakers. He was always ready with a story or a perfectly timed one-liner.
