Discourse in the letters to the editor would be improved if The Baltimore Sun required individuals who submit letters for publication to prove they regularly read news from multiple sources across the ideological spectrum ( “Democrats blind to their own disinformation,” Aug. 6).
It is far too easy to tell which readers regurgitate nonsense from viewpoint extremes found on cable television and AM radio.
