COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Authorities say one person was killed after a crash Thursday night in the Midlands.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol said the wreck happened at around 8:40 p.m. on Interstate 77 in Richland County.
Troopers said a 1999 Ford F-250 attempted to change lanes when it struck a 2021 Jeep Gladiator. The Jeep then reportedly went into the median and overturned.
SCHP said the driver of the Jeep was not hurt, but the Ford driver was taken to a hospital, where they later died.
The crash is under investigation.
