BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A search warrant served in Taft on Wednesday led to the arrest of a man accused of owning more than 600 images of child sexual abuse, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Office.
KCSO detectives, with the help of the United States Secret Service, executed a search warrant in the 500 block of Church Street in Taft for evidence related to an investigation about illegal possession of child sexual abuse content, officials said.
Chase Anderson, 23, was arrested during the search, according to KCSO. Anderson was booked into Lerdo Jail on suspicion of possessing over 600 images of illegal child sexual abuse material.
Anderson is being held on $20,000 bail as of Friday morning, inmate records show.
