New Leicester City manager Marti Cifuentes has admitted that there has been ‘conversations’ and ‘interest’ in some of his players, amid Leeds United ’s interest in Bilal El Khannouss.
The Moroccan midfielder was one of the standout players for the Foxes last season in what was a disappointing season that ended in relegation. It’s thought that Leicester want around £30 million if they are to sell this summer.
Leeds have been linked with an intertest in the 21-year-old, and have held talks with Leicester over a possible deal. El Khannouss joined Leicester from Genk last summer and has three years remaining on his contract at the King Power Stadium.
Despite the links with Leeds last week, El Khannouss was named in the starting lineup for Leicester’s final pre-season friendly against
