AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) – The Tulia Police Department released an update regarding the alleged fugitive situation that occurred on Thursday night, which resulted in two arrests, as well as an advisory for the public.

According to Tulia officials, the Tulia Police Department was notified at approximately 4:30 p.m. Thursday that a person allegedly wanted for murder in Arkansas may have been "hiding" in Tulia. Officials noted that the Tulia Police Department, Swisher County Sheriff's Office, and the Texas Rangers responded and began working to confirm that information.
