BIDDEFORD, Maine — A 26-year-old man has been arrested in connection with two recent shooting incidents in Biddeford, police said Friday.
Emil Girard, a transient known to frequent the Biddeford area, was taken into custody around 8:47 p.m. on Aug. 7 near 14 Elm St., according to a news release from the Biddeford Police Department. He was wanted on multiple outstanding warrants, including probation revocation in Maine and a parole violation in New Hampshire.
Girard also faces a local warrant for elevated aggravated assault, a class A felony. He was transported to the York County Sheriff’s Office after failing to post $50,000 cash bail.
