In recent years Rangers players have never had a problem raising their game for big European nights. ‌

The real issue has been lifting themselves for the bread and butter of the Scottish Premiership. ‌

And new boss Russell Martin is about to find out whether it’s still a matter for concern. ‌

On Tuesday night, his team produced a terrific display to batter Czech side Viktoria Plzen 3-0 in their Champions League qualifying first-leg.

Now, Martin’s men have to replicate it on Saturday against a Dundee outfit who look like they’re destined for a campaign of toil in the top flight.
