BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A Bowling Green man is facing 40 counts in connection with an online investigation.

According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department executed a search warrant Thursday at the residence of 26-year-old Richard Rigsby of Bowling Green.

Police say they responded to Penns Chapel Road, where they spoke to Rigsby.

Authorities say Rigsby confirmed he had “sent and received” images and videos in an online group that had sent and received child sexual abuse material.

Police say they were able to confirm the chat had several hundred images of child sexual abuse material.
