TILTON, N.H. (ABC22/FOX44) - The tractor-trailer driver that died after a crash in New Hampshire Friday has been identified, and is from Vermont, state police confirm.
The crash happened on I-93, close to mile marker 57 around 1:52 a.m.
Investigators say that the unit driver, now confirmed to be 48-year-old Benjamin Willson, lost control of the vehicle on a curve.
The tractor trailer then broke through the center median guardrail, also went through an embankment, traveled across railroad tracks and finally stopped n the Winnipesaukee River.
The circumstances surrounding this crash are under active investigation, authorities say.
