Those heading to Murrayfield on Friday afternoon waited in lengthy queues at a packed Princes Street tram stop ahead of the Oasis gig.
An image taken by a passerby shows hundreds of fans waiting to board a tram on the busy shopping street just before 5pm on August 8.
Trams and buses are currently running at full capacity in the capital as thousands of music lovers travel to the highly-anticipated gig.
It comes as the Gallagher brothers prepare to take to the stage at Murrayfield for the first of three concerts. The Britpop band will be performing to hundreds of thousands of people over the course of Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
