PRESEASON OPENER

For the first time in the 2025 campaign, the Giants will take the field against another opponent as they travel to Buffalo to face the Bills in the preseason opener. Kickoff is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 9 at 1 p.m. ET on WNBC. Coach Brian Daboll did not shed much light on the coaching staff's plan for the starters, but he did discuss some of his general philosophies on the matter.

"I think it's different for every team," Daboll said about playing starters in the preseason. "I've done a lot of research in terms of teams in the last few years, coaches, veteran coaches, what they've done. I worked for some people that have had pretty good success in how we did it.
