Pitt men’s basketball is on the hunt for players to make up the 2026 recruiting class. The Panthers have offered a handful of players already, one of whom recently scheduled his official visit. Jermal Jones Jr. was offered on Aug. 4 and now will visit Oakland on Sept. 26-28.
It’s one of two visits he has planned in the month of September. Jones will first head to Cal on Sept. 12-14. He actually has a couple of other ACC schools interested in him, with Clemson and Florida State also extending offers. Cincinnati, Purdue, Washington, West Virginia and others have also shown interest.
Jones is a versatile combo guard standing at 6-foot-4 and listed between 180 and 185 pounds. He’s currently playing at IMG Academy, which is known for producing elite basketball talent. Some notable names inclu
