McDonald's latest Happy Meal special is a collaboration with two animal-inspired cartoon classics.
The fast food chain announced on Aug. 7 that it will be launching a Hello Kitty, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and friends Happy Meal later this month after teasing it on social media on July 31.
The limited-time meal, which is set to be offered at participating locations beginning Aug. 12, will include special figurines consisting of "a wild fusion of your favorite TMNT heroes and the Hello Kitty crew," McDonald's said.
Each meal will include one of 12 figurine options and a character card describing "their unique skills and story," according to the fast food chain.
The signature Happy Meal boxes will feature graphics of both the fighting reptiles and the feline-like girl, according to promotional images.
How to get McDonald's Hello Kitty, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Happy Meal
The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Hello Kitty-inspired Happy Meal will be available starting Aug. 12 at participating McDonald's locations in the United States.
It can be purchased in person or on the McDonald's app at available restaurants.
The meal is only available for a limited time, McDonald's said.
More unique McDonald's Happy Meals: Minecraft, Squishmallow, more
The new Hello Kitty and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collaboration is only the latest line of McDonald's Happy Meals.
Earlier this year, the fast food chain launched items inspired by the "Minecraft" movie, including a Happy Meal and a themed meal with a collectible item.
In May, McDonald's also added Squishmallow toys inside Happy Meals. Most recently, the company announced the release of special "Lil McDonald's" toys inside Happy Meals in June.
