LAREDO, Tex. (KGNS) - The Boys & Girls Club of Laredo announced it will host its first Teen Night Friday, Aug. 8, offering an evening of music, games, food and activities exclusively for teens ages 13 to 17.

Club officials said the event comes in response to feedback from local youth who requested more opportunities to gather in a safe, fun environment.

“You asked for it, now it’s your time to show up and show out,” the organization said in a social media post.

The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Benavides Club, 500 Moctezuma St., in Laredo. Activities will include video games, live music and refreshments.
