WNBA’s String of Dildo Incidents Started Because of a Meme Coin: Report

The recent string of dildos flying onto WNBA courts may be the work of crypto bros trying to boost the value of their meme coin.

At the end of a late-July game between the Atlanta Dream and the Golden State Valkyries, a bright green sex toy was thrown onto the court. Although the toy was quickly discarded, its presence temporarily halted play in what was shaping up to be an intense finish to a close game.

Then, it happened again during another Atlanta Dream game. This provoked a tweet from Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham , who urged fans to stop throwing things on the court and putting player safety at risk.
